Here at The Clinic Cheshire, we are proud to offer Intense Pulsed Light Laser Treatment (IPL), a non-invasive LimeLight therapy facial to help treat skin pigmentation, hyperpigmentation, thread vein removal and sun spots/damage and vascular concerns.
The treatment is available thanks to the Cutera XEO laser platform, which offers the technology that we can tailor and target the LimeLight facial to treat a range of skin conditions, tones and concerns.
If you are interested in learning if intense pulsed light treatment is suitable for your condition, contact us via email for more information or arrange a consultation.
Please note, all information included above and on this page is general advice and may vary depending on personal circumstances. Your exact treatment plan and options will be discussed during your consultation.
This is entirely dependent on which skin condition you are aiming to treat, but as a whole, the Cutera Lime Light facial/laser treatment works through non-invasive Intense Pulsed Light therapy, which is entirely customisable based on skin tone and the skin condition. Therefore, IPL laser for vein removal compared to laser for pigmentation is completely different.
Intense Pulsed Light lasers for pigmentation work by gently breaking down the pigment into smaller particles before rising to the surface, creating pigmentation; they flake away naturally as part of the human regeneration process.
Intense Pulsed Light laser treatment for vein removal works by emitting broad-spectrum light that is absorbed by the haemoglobin in blood vessels. This light converts into heat that allows them to safely collapse and seal. This has no impact on the surface layer of the skin.
Intense Pulsed Light laser treatment for hyperpigmentation, including age spots, sun spots and freckles. IPL is customised to work similarly to the laser vein removal process by heating up and non-invasively destroying melanin-rich cells. Over time, this creates a brighter, even and clear complexion.
The Cutera IPL Limelight facial treats a variety of skin concerns. LimeLight Facial here at The Clinic Cheshire is an ideal treatment for any part of your face, neck and décolleté with skin redness, telangiectasia (tiny veins) or brown spots. Benefits include, but are not limited to:

No, our IPL treatment is a non-invasive facial, which is why this treatment also requires no downtime. This means you can visit us at The Clinic Cheshire and enjoy the rest of your day, as long as you follow our post-treatment advice.
As skin conditions such as rosacea, spider veins and sun spots can develop in very specific areas such as the face, nose, legs and body, we can use the intense pulsed light treatment on tailored and specific areas. There is no one-size-fits-all for this treatment, which is why it’s a go-to when treating an array of skin conditions.
Yes, we are happy to provide one of the most effective treatments for the removal of spider veins, but we can also treat sun spots, benign pigmented lesions, vascular concerns and beyond without LimeLight facial with IPL rejuvenation. With regards to the removal of spider veins, the pulsed light laser targets the vascular vessels (the veins), heats it up, which then collapses and seals off, removing the small veins without any pain or downtime.
Yes, UK law states that a patch test is required prior to treatment and that you must wait 24-48 hours after the patch test to have the treatment.
