The Profhilo skin treatment at our Cheshire Clinic is a type of skin booster that has the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid of all the skin boosters we offer.
During your treatment, the Profhilo skin booster will be injected into your chosen area or the area our professionals would suggest after topical numbing cream. This could be on the neck, face or body. The hyaluronic acid will disperse around the area, and within 2 months, you will see results.
Profhilo skin treatment will only ever be administered by a trained nurse at our clinic.
Profhilo injections are an innovative treatment that acts as an internal moisturiser, dramatically improving skin health by creating firmer, tighter, and more hydrated skin, all from the comfort of our Stockport clinic.
The key benefits of Profhilo skin treatments are:
Avoid alcohol and any blood-thinning medications such as ibuprofen or aspirin 24 hours prior to treatment to avoid the increased risk of bruising (do not stop medication advised or prescribed by your doctor).
Immediately after treatment, there may be slight redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness, and an itching sensation in the treated area. These signs are normal, temporary and will resolve in 24-48 hrs.

A course of 2 to 3 Profhilo treatments is recommended 4 weeks apart. Your full treatment results will be realised after the second treatment, the 2-month mark. Profhilo injections here in our Cheshire clinic work with the skin’s natural processes to produce fresh collagen and elastin for gradual, natural changes; therefore, results last for months and only require a top-up every 5 months to maintain and further improve your results.
Results from your Profhilo skin treatment will last for up to 5 months, at which point we would recommend having an additional Profhilo skin booster to maintain your results and improve your skin quality.
You may experience some redness, swelling or pain over the injection sites; this is completely natural and a common side effect which should subside within a day or two. Some small bumps may be present for up to 24 hours after the injections. Bruising at the injection site is also a possibility.
This treatment is a perfect natural solution to anti-ageing; therefore, we would recommend it to our patients when they want to address those concerns. There is no specific age, or circumstance we would recommend for Profhilo injections, as everyone is different.
