How Does a Skin Booster Treatment Work at The Clinic Cheshire?

Skin boosters can be injected into various parts of your face and body, including the face, neck, chest and hands. A very fine needle will be used to inject the skin booster, into your skin at the desired treatment sites. Only our fully trained and experienced nurses or doctors will administer injectable aesthetic treatments.

Pre & Post Treatment Advice

Pre-Treatment Advice for Skin Boosters

Avoid alcohol and any blood thinning medications such as ibuprofen or aspirin 24 hours prior to treatment to avoid the increased risk of bruising (do not stop medication advised or prescribed by your doctor).

Post-Treatment Advice for Skin Boosters

Immediately after treatment, there may be slight redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness, and an itching sensation in the treated area. These signs are temporary and will resolve in 24-48hrs.

Avoid touching your treated area for 6 hours after treatment
Do not massage the treated area
Drink plenty of fluids to hydrate yourself and your skin
After 6 hrs wash gently with a mild cleanser, if you wish to apply makeup this should be delayed until 24hrs after treatment
Avoid the use of a sauna and sunbed for 2 weeks.
Apply daily SPF minimum factor 30 separate from any other products.
